A few days ago I jumped in for a friend of mine to attend an event by Nissan for Radical-Mag. Nissan is introducing two cars of their high performance / motorsport brand Nismo in Europe and gave us the possibility to drive the Nismo Juke and Nismo 370Z. Not only did we drive on open roads as so often, Nissan had organised a very fun stunt workshop for us. It was very close to a Knight Rider Workshop actually. First thing we learned was doing a 180 turn with the Nismo Juke. So put the pedal to the metal in reverse and as soon as you hit about 30 km/h you flip the steering half around and boom, the car turns. That was sooo much fun, I could have done that for a lot longer. The second part was remote steering a Nismo Juke out of a Nissan Leaf via a Playstation Steering Wheel, pretty self explanatory. The third thing they taught us was driving our Jukes on the back of a semi-trailer. While in motion of course. We did it at 30 km/h, 40 and 50. So much fun!
And I have to say I love how both cars look. Nissan has gone a very good route with their fleet. If you can read german, head over to the Radical-Mag Post and see what I think about the 370Z. Just to sum it up for both cars, I liked the both quite a bit, for the Juke I will certainly prefer the manual transmission, as the other option just keeps you from being really sporty. With the 370Z I only wonder why the car weighs that much. Not that you think it handles bad or anything, but it would certainly drive even better if it lost some weight.
Well, enjoy the photos and have a great weekend!!!
