ok here is the story.
I was joining the first gamescamp ever (I think). which basically is a barcamp with its main focus on games, in general.

anyway. we had planned a big party for saturday evening/night. djs, pokertables, drinks en masse, etc. etc. one thing I didn’t know though was we also had a boutique owner invited to present some of his stuff and give the visitors the possibility to shop for some nice clothes.

as I was walking back, extremly victorious I might add, from the poker tables, the boutique owner asked me if I could take some shots of his model in one of the outfits.
I had most of my gear in the car parked outside, so I agreed and got most of the stuff I needed. unfortunatley I didn’t get my ezybox softboxes as they were burried somewhere in the depth of my cars trunk, but more on that later on.

so we started a little bit hecticly, and yes the hectic part was on my side , as I wasn’t sure how much time we had. the model was jsut amazingly cool and got her poses right rightaway. as we finished, I somehow ended up with two more beautiful grls in the boutique owners dresses and basically kept shooting. stunning girls, great dresses and a very good energy jsut built up.

we went through all this in a maximum of two hours, including the search forthe right spots, setting up and all. so I am very satisfied to that regard. the only thing I could bite my own butt is, that I didn’t think of a easy way to diffuse the light more. the photos turned out good and all, but still with two or three softboxes the whole thing would have had a much nicer touch I think.
