here we go. after such a long time of wanting to attend a photowalk which is basically alking around with a bunch of other photographers and taking pictures on the way, dominik and I finally put together a route and a date for a photowalk here in cologne, germany.

Einladung zu unserem ersten Photowalk!
Bei diesem Event geht es hauptsächlich darum, Spaß am Fotografieren zu haben, in einer Gruppe Gleichgesinnter einer vorgegebenen Route zu folgen und die fotografischen Möglichkeiten zu erkunden. Die eigenen Fähigkeiten ggf. zu schulen, einfach neue Einblicke in die Fotografie zu erhalten und Spaß zu haben.
Ihr seid zu nichts verpflichtet und müsst die Fotos im Nachhinein auch nicht veröffentlichen (z.B. Flickr), aber wir würden uns darüber natürlich sehr freuen.
Einzige Vorraussetzung ist es wirklich nur, eine Kamera dabei zu haben und der Spaß am Fotografieren. Die Art der Kamera spielt keine Rolle, von der Handykamera bis zur professionelle DSLR kann alles dabei sein.
Treffpunkt ist 13 Uhr vor dem Starbucks am Friesenplatz (Ecke Hohenzollernring und Magnusstraße). Von hier aus werden wir gen Rhein gehen und auf die andere Rheinseite wechseln, um dort die Aussicht auf die Kölner City zu geniessen. Wir werden den Walk der Jahreszeit entsprechen auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt am Kölner Dom enden lassen.

Und zum guten Schluss wird es für einige Teilnehmer eine vorgezogene Weihnachtsbescherung geben.

Invitation to our first photowalk!
The event is mainly focused on having fun taking pictures, following a preset route with a group of like-minded people and finding its photographic possibilities.
Maybe even train your skills, get new insights and most of all have fun!
You are not obliged to anything and don’t have to publish your pictures (on flickr e.g.) if you don’t want to, but we would certainly appreciate it.
The only real requirement is you bring a camera and have lots of fun. What sort of camera though is completly your choice. ranging from mobilephone cameras to professional DSLRs.

We’ll meet at 1pm at the Starbucks on Friesenplatz. (at the corner Hohenzollernring/Magnusstraße).
The route will lead us towards the Rhine, which we’ll cross later to enjoy the scenic view of the Cologne center.
And just like it should be at this time of the year – the walk will end at the Christmas Market next to the Cathedral.

And finally, to make the season uberjolly, we’re going to have a lucky draw for some nice early christmas gifts.
